Starcrossed Review

So this is my very first review. It's not the greatest, but hey, it's the first of hopefully many more to come.

Blurb: (From Goodreads)
How do you defy destiny?

Helen Hamilton has spent her entire sixteen years trying to hide how different she is—no easy task on an island as small and sheltered as Nantucket. And it's getting harder. Nightmares of a desperate desert journey have Helen waking parched, only to find her sheets damaged by dirt and dust. At school she's haunted by hallucinations of three women weeping tears of blood . . . and when Helen first crosses paths with Lucas Delos, she has no way of knowing they're destined to play the leading roles in a tragedy the Fates insist on repeating throughout history.

As Helen unlocks the secrets of her ancestry, she realizes that some myths are more than just legend. But even demigod powers might not be enough to defy the forces that are both drawing her and Lucas together—and trying to tear them apart.

My Review:
I absolutely LOVED this book! I really enjoyed how it was all put together and that ending? OMG!! I cannot wait to read the rest of this series! Lucas is by far my favorite character! Helen coming in second, and I loved Cassandra as well. Who knew being a Demigod could be so fun, yet dangerous? I also enjoyed the Greek Mythology aspect to this book. I used to love reading about the Gods and Goddess when I was in school. I was very fascinated by them.

Overall, this was a great book and I would definitely recommend it! I think I might read it again once the rest of the series has come out.

I gave Starcrossed 5/5 Butterflies!
