Favourite thing about writing?
For me writing has always been away for me to escape and work things out. A lot of readers tell me that the black moments are really sad and well dark. That’s generally because when my characters work out their issues, it helps me do the same. Their emotions are real and I usually get teary-eyed when I re-read the story. I put my characters through so much. But it also is very uplifting. Everything always works out. No, sometimes not the way they thought but their past builds resilience much like in real life.
That is my favorite part. I like being able to learn lessons from their lives, their mistakes and then hoping that my readers learn from it too. I totally think characters can teach the writer just as much as they teach the readers.
A close second favorite is my readers themselves. Reading comments on how much someone loved my story or they wanted to strangle me at a certain part, makes my day. We live for feedback. I smile at every single bit of feedback from you guys. It makes the long months so worth it.
